Dreams of Faraway Times
Even space-faring bounty hunters have to sleep sometimes. Karis clutches close a few choice inhabitants of her stuffed animal collection. Not that she has a stuffed animal collection. Or a need to clutch them at night. Nor would she admit to her dreams of a life before, when she was just a daughter with few cares in the world besides which stuffed animal to sleep with.

A Sinister Serenade
Surely the powers of darkness can wait a spell as Acacia, Saspar, and Ancel indulge in a little musical interlude. There isn't an audience of course, not besides themselves, but still, it is a welcome break from the usual broken "fail to thwart the heroes" record of their lives.

A Thousand Paper Cranes
The movements are easy. Practiced. Second nature. But each fold of the paper is more than a line scored into fiber. It is a memory of mistakes from long ago. A thousand origami cranes is a foolish endeavor, Raine knows, but the promise of their wish keeps his hands in motion. Could one wish for forgiveness?

A Secret Garden
Here, on top of the world, Natsuki feels safe. Alone with the things she loves, away from the ceaseless pressure of the business world, this garden is her sanctuary. It is the place where, for a moment, she can be the person she used to be.

The Games Foxes Play
Nazo smiles to herself, the afternoon sun dancing across her back through the open shoji screen. Everything was working according to the kitsune's perfect plan. What great fun it will be to see how it all plays out!

Memories of Center Stage
This was home once. Even in the lot outside, Cora can feel the life of the stage inside, where she used to practice magic with her father. But that is behind her now. Outside of the spotlight, she has a new purpose: Find the spirit that murdered her father...and destroy it.

Hop to the Beat
The lights! The music! This is the stage of the idol singer, and Daisuke is very much in his element. The crowd goes wild for his pitch perfect notes, his smooth moves, and of course his dashing good looks. Now if only there weren't that small matter of the Black Bunny Curse...

Smile!
There's nothing like a job well done! After taking down legions of robot minions, why wouldn't intergalactic bounty hunter Karis stop for a selfie? Besides, with an alien sunset like this, you won’t even need a special filter to look great in cyberspace. Come on, smile Arasuni!

My Life as a Shard Knight
My cover illustration for R.T. Driver's first book in his Isaac Comett series, titled My Life as a Shard Knight.
Isaac Comett expected to be using his last year of middle school to make fond memories with his soon-to-be separated friends; not fighting for his life against a threat from space!
In an attempt to commemorate their bond before going off to different high schools, Isaac's close friend June convinces him and the rest of their companions to spend their pathetic allowances on homemade crystal necklaces at an art fair. What was supposed to be a cheap trinket to remember each other by turns out to be an interstellar weapon called Memorite; an unimaginably powerful substance that everyone and their grandmother wants to get their hands on!
...Including the ruthless Cyborg, Captain Straum.
If this sounds like your cup of tea, you can get the e-book on Amazon right now!

I was commissioned to do the cover illustrations, and this one is for the third book in the series: The Glass Word.
