ReplyDeleteEvery character in OVA is heavily inspired by common anime tropes, and this one is indeed the obligatory sci-fi girl in a plugsuit, i.e. Neon Genesis Evangelion.
ReplyDeleteThough the real origin of this character is actually Phantasy Star Online: The original Karis was a HUnewearl on the Dreamcast version of that game. The more you know!
